The largest Spring exhibitions at the NEC

Some of the most iconic exhibitions at the NEC in Spring

Whilst life is very different at the moment for virtually everyone, this can also be said for the NEC.  As the second UK Nightingale Hospital created to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, all facilities inside the building have now been changed to represent hospital rooms, it must look very different inside.

Whilst we are waiting for phased relaxations in the current controls, let’s look back at some of the exhibitions the NEC hosts on a yearly basis (and for which promotional staff are of vital importance).

The Furniture Show – January

This exhibition consists of everything furniture.  It traditionally welcomes anything from furniture enthusiasts and freelance interior designers to buyers from well-known retailers, scouting for the next thing in furniture!  Our staff are used on stands – this can be greeting people, talking about the products, data capturing and sales leads. At this particular show, our staff are usually very well briefed by the client.  They need to know the history behind the product or company, perhaps where the inspiration came from for the furniture, and finally what the client really wants out of the possible customer.  It’s a brilliant exhibition, our staff love being part of it, and the feedback is always great.

Camping and caravanning show – February

Spanning 6 days this show sells everything camping and caravanning focused, welcoming the hardcore outdoor types to the weather dependent occasionals.  With over 100,000 attendees, this is the biggest show of its kind in the UK.  Our staff can hand out leaflets, sell, present caravans and ranges to small groups of people at an exhibition stand on a rotation, take potential customers on tours of the vans and tents, and have even been known to demonstrate putting up and taking down tents!

Crufts –  March

We have been providing promotional staff at Crufts for over 4 years now.  A variety of different brands who exhibit there require staff, and some of the brands we work with like our staff so much that they book them again for the next year!  Whilst you may have a number of people within your organise, not everyone is a natural seller, or brand ambassador, and that’s where we come in.  From handing out leaflets and meeting and greeting customers for dog grooming brands, to selling snacks, handing out samples and fussing dogs, we can do it all!
